WASHINGTON -- New Yorkers may have a rap as chronic complainers.

But a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows New Yorkers actually rank in about the middle of the pack when it comes to how many ``healthy days'' per month they claim to enjoy compared to residents of other states.

The new study is the most comprehensive look at how Americans say they feel, both mentally and physically. The federal agency and state health departments surveyed about 432,000 Americans randomly from 1993 to 1996. They were asked how many days in the past 30 their physical or mental …
