Sports club revamp

The main building at the University of Bath-owned Sulis Club atClaverton Down will close for a makeover next month.

But the sports pitches, changing rooms, the sports injury clinic,boxing hall and car park will remain open and operate as normal.

The gym, the lawn bowls green, bars and catering facilities willbe shut. A university spokesman said the majority of users would notbe affected by the temporary closure.

It has not been revealed how long the sports club will be closedfor.
