VIC: One shot dead at La Trobe University = 3

Police spokesman Senior Constable Wayne Wilson told 3AW the injured person was a woman, but
police were not sure of her condition.

Snr Const Wilson said the danger had passed with a man being taken into custody.

"There is no one loose in the area," he said.

He said Homicide Squad members were on the way to the university, as well as local police,
CIB and ambulance.
